Two weeks ago we went down to Sheffield to brew with the guys from Abbeydale.
We spent two days in Sheffield with Laura, Jamie, Jim, Christie, Scott and the rest of the crew. It was great to meet the Abbeydale family, a very skilled group of friends led by the founders Sue and Patrick, and to hear more from Jim about the amazing Funk Dungeon project.
We brewed together a sour ale with blackcurrant, half of which will age in Chianti barrels, which we have brought directly from a vineyard in Tuscany.
We also had the pleasure to pour our last keg of Balsamic milk stout at their "Piss Up in the Brewery" festival, together with other amazing 40 beers from all around Europe.
